Stuck in a rut? Feeling trapped? Going round in circles?

This workshop looks into the nature of our habits so we can break free of them. We ask: What are the ways in which I can interact with myself and make lasting change? If I make an effort will I see a measurable result? How do I break the habit of “being myself” long enough to bring about effective changes in my life?

In Evolve Your Brain, Joe Dispenza, featured in the popular movie What the Bleep Do We Know!?, teaches us the biology of change. He shows us how the mind can affect the body, changing our very perception of reality through personal physiology. We learn about the mind-body connection, how stress affects the body, and how people get diseases.

We also discover the possibilities of change, including spontaneous remission. We learn how new thinking and beliefs and the art of observation can “rewire” the brain, creating lasting changes in our everyday life. With a dnamic combination of science and accessible instruction, Dispenza shows us how to use the most important tool in our body and life: our brain.

Participants will be able to:
  • Cite neruoscientific studies that describe how the mind can heal
  • Describe the relationship between thoughts and the physical body
  • Discuss the effect of stress on the brain and body
  • Describe neuroplasticity and the art of “rewiring” the brain
  • Utilize the technique of mental rehearsal to help patients make positive changes in thinking
  • Identify the importance of the frontal lobe in “reshaping” one’s brain and outcome
