An integral part of traveling through life successfully is developing our confidence and competence in the realm of money. Veer too far in one direction and we become self-centered and grasping. Veer too far the other way and we sacrifice our power and ability to make an impact in the world.
Money is not simply maya (illusion). Neither is it the greatest good to be pursued at all costs. Rather, money is both material and spiritual. Understanding and resolving our issues with money frees us to be more authentically ourselves and build lives that are rich in the very deepest sense.
During True Self, True Wealth, we form a sacred space and use music, movement, art, storytelling, journaling, and group process to:
- Explore old messages about money that we carry from childhood
- Take a clear and compassionate look at our current financial standing
- Try out new ways of thinking about the role of money in our life
- Chart a new financial course that opens exciting possibilities
- Heal our relationship with money and claim our power in the world
Bring a spiral bound notebook. Recommended reading: Dominguez and Robin, Your Money or Your Life and Twist, The Soul of Money.
